Avro Lancaster
The Polish Aviation Museum
cordially invites you
October 26, 2025 (this Sunday)
to “Meeting by the Aircraft“
led by
Jan Hoffmann
We will talk about a British heavy bomber from World War II. The Lancaster was developed in 1940. The aircraft was the result of a radical redesign of the pre-war twin-engine Manchester bomber. The Lancaster proved to be the best bomber of the British RAF during World War II. It was also in service with the Polish No. 300 Squadron “Masovia,” from spring 1944 to 1946. We will learn about the history and construction of this interesting aircraft.
