We will talk about the first American strategic bomber and nuclear weapon carrier with turbojet propulsion, created after World War II. It was the first aircraft of its class with swept wings and engines mounted on underwing pylons. The experience gained from its design paved the way for the development of large-scale combat and passenger aircraft structures. We will learn about the history of creation and development, as well as the construction of this pioneering aircraft.
