Convair B-36 Peacemaker
The Polish Aviation Museum
cordially invites you
March 9, 2025 (this Sunday)
to “Meeting by the Aircraft“
led by
Jan Hoffmann
We will talk about the somewhat forgotten American strategic bomber B-36. Created during World War II, it first flew in August 1946. After necessary design changes, it entered service in 1948. The B-36 is one of the largest piston-engine aircraft in aviation history to be produced in series. We will learn about the history of creation, development, and construction of this interesting and successful model.
