The He 162 was another German jet aircraft developed and produced at the end of World War II. It was intended to be a light, easy-to-fly fighter, built from readily available materials. In February 1945, it was being introduced into service and by mid-April achieved combat readiness. We will talk about the creation of this remarkable aircraft and its interesting, unconventional construction.
