We will talk about the first turbojet-powered fighter aircraft in aviation history to enter operational service and be used in combat during World War II. German pilots called it Sturmvogel (Storm Bird), while the Western Allies gave it the nickname Turbo. The Me 262 Schwalbe, despite the imperfections of its propulsion, became a symbol of revolutionary changes in aviation technology.
