The Polish Aviation Museum
cordially invites you

September 7, 2025 (this Sunday)

to “Meeting by the Aircraft
led by
Jan Hoffmann

We will talk about a Polish pre-war basic training aircraft developed at the Aviation Section Workshops of the Mechanical Engineering Students’ Circle at the Warsaw University of Technology. The aircraft was created in response to the need for a training aircraft for civil and military aviation. It was first flown presumably in late 1932. Its concept was developed by engineer Wigura with the participation of engineers Rogalski and Drzewiecki. It was produced by DWL and PWS and trained many civilian and military pilots. At the Museum — at the new permanent exhibition “With the Wind and Against the Wind — Civil Aviation” — you can see a faithful replica of the RWD-8, where part of the Meeting will take place.
