We will talk about Soviet fighter aircraft created in the Yakovlev design bureau during World War II. The Yak-1, Yak-7, Yak-9, and Yak-3 have permanently etched themselves in the history of aerial combat. During the development of these designs, serious technological problems were encountered — production quality, lack of suitable engines, equipment, and armament. We will learn about the history of creation and construction of these interesting aircraft.
