The 19th Małopolska Researchers’ Night is behind us. Once again, participants could discover that science is a fascinating adventure full of great emotions and unforgettable experiments. On this occasion, the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków prepared three special themed guided tours for visitors.

On Friday, 26 September, the attention of Małopolska once again turned to science. As part of the Małopolska Researchers’ Night, many cultural institutions in our region prepared events that allowed visitors to encounter science in its various forms. At the Polish Aviation Museum, visitors could take advantage of three exciting guided tours.

At 14:00 – family guided tour

A tour adapted for families with children. Participants learned about the history of aviation and discovered the fundamental laws of physics and mechanics behind the ability of aircraft to fly. Visitors had the chance to see both the oldest exhibits in our Museum and newer machines, reaching breathtaking speeds and impressing with various technical solutions.

At 15:30 – guided tour for enthusiasts

A special guided tour for enthusiasts, during which participants discovered aviation secrets – both the well-known and the less obvious ones. It was a unique opportunity to uncover new facts, take a close look at aircraft and ask questions that had long intrigued them.

At 17:00 – guided tour for adults

A guided tour of the Polish Aviation Museum, led by Mr Jan Hoffmann. The tour for adults was devoted primarily to the Cold War era – a time of intense arms race and dynamic development of aviation technologies. Participants had the opportunity to take a close look at combat aircraft from this period and learn about their history.

We sincerely thank all participants of this year’s edition for taking part and visiting our Museum.
