On the occasion of Grandparents’ Day, the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków prepared special guided tours that grandparents and their grandchildren could enjoy. Nearly 100 people took the opportunity to hear fascinating stories about the gems of aviation history and explore an aircraft from the inside!
On Tuesday and Wednesday – 21 and 22 January – grandmothers, grandfathers and their grandchildren had the opportunity to take part in guided tours specially prepared for them at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków. Qualified guides with a genuine passion for aviation led tours through the history of flight, sharing fascinating facts and little-known stories about the most valuable Museum exhibits, many of which are the last surviving examples in the world – such as the Polish PZL P.11c fighter or aircraft from Hermann Göring’s collection!
During the approximately one-hour walk, visitors could hear about the most important aircraft connected with the history of Polish aviation and machines that have made a significant mark in world history. Nearly 100 grandparents and grandchildren who took advantage of the specially prepared event also had the opportunity to see an aircraft from the inside!
