The Festival of Sensitive Culture is a one-of-a-kind event in Małopolska that proves culture is accessible to everyone. Dozens of institutions from across the region, including museums, theatres and music centres, presented their cultural offerings for all. During the festival, visitors could explore inclusive exhibitions and performances, attend film screenings, concerts, meetings and workshops. As part of the Festival, we conducted a “sensitive guided tour” of our Museum!

We are proud and delighted to announce that we participated in the Festival of Sensitive Culture for the second time!

What does this mean? That on Wednesday, September 25 at 11:00 AM, a “sensitive guided tour” took place across all exhibitions of our Museum.

What is a “sensitive guided tour”? It is a form of visiting designed with accessibility in mind for people with disabilities and those who encounter difficulties participating in traditional forms of culture.

For nearly an hour and a half, people with disabilities and those who encounter difficulties participating in traditional forms of culture were able to explore our exhibitions in a way adapted to their needs.

We offer “sensitive guided tours” not only as part of the Festival — we also warmly invite you to special visits adapted to the needs of people with disabilities on a daily basis. To arrange such a guided tour, simply send an email to deum@muzeumlotnictwa.pl

More about the Festival of Sensitive Culture

During the second edition of the Festival of Sensitive Culture, over 11 days (from September 22 to October 2), 25 cultural institutions of the Małopolska Region held dozens of events — performances, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, etc. — planned with full accessibility for people with disabilities in mind.

Events took place in locations such as: Alwernia, Gorlice, Kraków, Krynica-Zdrój, Lusławice, Nowy Sącz, Oświęcim, Tarnów, Wadowice, Wierzchosławice, Wygiełzów, Zakopane and Zubrzyca Górna.

The Festival of Sensitive Culture is not only an opportunity to participate in unique cultural events, but also a chance to raise awareness about inclusivity in culture.

Access to culture is everyone’s right. Together, we prove that in Małopolska it is within reach.
