On 14 February, the Aviation Education and Jobs Fair took place at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw. It was one of the events accompanying the 10th edition of the Cumulusy awards. Fair visitors could meet us at the Polish Aviation Museum stand.

During the fair, our educators and guides talked about the work of the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków – expanding the collections, the new educational offer and interesting temporary exhibitions planned for 2025.

Those interested could also learn more about the upcoming new permanent exhibition “With the Wind and Against the Wind. Civil Aviation”. The planned exhibition will be dedicated to civil aviation, with particular emphasis on the successes of Polish sport pilots from the 1930s onwards. Visitors will be able to admire approximately 45 large-scale exhibits, including gliders and aircraft.

Our museum stand also offered the opportunity to browse the museum shop and purchase unique publications from the Acta Aeronautica Profile series, among other items.

Running in parallel with the fair was the Cumulusy Conference, during which experts and leaders in the aviation business discussed topics related to investments in Polish airports, the use of drones and anti-drone systems, innovations in general aviation, and new technologies in aviation.

On 15 February, the 10th anniversary Cumulusy 2024 gala took place, which was not without museum accents. The Director of our Museum, Tomasz Kosecki, had the honour of presenting the statuette in the Event Organiser category to Antidotum Airshow Leszno. Our model-making instructor, Michał Filas, became a laureate in the Cumulus Sport category, finishing in 9th place.

The gala was a fantastic opportunity to meet many outstanding figures of the Polish aviation world and to promote our Museum. The “Medal of the Aviation Seniors Council of the Polish Aero Club” was presented to Krzysztof Sondej by the President of the Kraków Aviation Seniors Club, Leszek Mańkowski. We thank the organisers, led by Krzysztof Sondej, for the invitation, and congratulate all laureates on their success!
