We are proud to announce that the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków hosted the premiere of the new AGH Racing team race car – the fully electric RTE 3.0. The event, which took place on 26 May 2025, brought together representatives of the worlds of science, industry and motorsport. As a project partner, the Museum made its spaces available, supporting young engineers and their technologically advanced undertaking.
The RTE 3.0 is a groundbreaking vehicle, the first all-wheel-drive race car in AGH Racing’s history, built on a carbon fibre monocoque – a solution used in professional motorsport. Weighing just 225 kg, powered by four independent motors with a combined output of 190 HP and torque of 1,000 Nm, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The control and aerodynamic systems used make it one of the most advanced designs in the history of Formula Student in Poland. Another novelty is the preparation of the vehicle for autonomous driving – with a system based on AI, cameras and environment scanners.
The Polish Aviation Museum has been inspiring and supporting young engineers and scientists for years. Our spaces host not only vehicle premieres, but also events promoting innovation and technical education. Last year, we hosted the jubilee conference “10 Years for Space”, organised by the AGH Space Systems student research group on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. Every year, during the Polish Aviation Day organised by the Museum, you can also find stands of student research groups from the AGH Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics – including the AGH Project Hydrive and AGH Drone Engineering teams.
We are delighted that the Museum can serve as a space for dialogue between the history of aviation and the future of engineering. By supporting young engineers, we have a real impact on the development of Polish technical thought. We congratulate the AGH Racing team on their impressive project and keep our fingers crossed for the upcoming Formula Student competitions in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland!
