For all children (up to 18 years of age) who spent their winter holidays in Kraków, the Polish Aviation Museum prepared a great offer! On 21-24 and 28-31 January, children and young people could visit all displays and permanent exhibitions for just PLN 2. Additionally, during both weeks, from Tuesday to Friday, special guided tours with guides took place, included in the ticket price – each day dedicated to a different age group. Over 1,400 people took advantage of the offer!

City holidays don’t have to be spent only in front of a computer. We want to encourage children, young people and their guardians to discover the cultural treasures of the region. The Polish Aviation Museum is undoubtedly one of the greatest attractions not only on the map of Kraków but also of Małopolska – it’s worth visiting us during the holidays! We present wonders of technology, extraordinary stories of flying aces and outstanding Polish engineers; here you can truly feel how dreams of freedom, discovering new spaces and overcoming adversity become tangible and often take the form of beautiful winged machines. – said Tomasz Kosecki, Director of the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków.

During the Małopolska winter holidays, which this year fell on the last two weeks of January, every child aged 7 to 18 (upon presenting a school ID card) could visit the Polish Aviation Museum for a symbolic PLN 2. Additionally, the ticket price included special guided tours with guides, which took place daily at 12:00 PM.

During the approximately one-hour guided walk, visitors could hear about the most important aircraft connected with the history of Polish aviation and machines that have made a significant mark in world history. Participants of the “Holidays for PLN 2” campaign also had the opportunity to see an aircraft from the inside!

On the last day of the holidays – Friday 31 January – the Museum especially invited children with disabilities to the guided tour. The “Sensitive Guided Tour” is a form of visiting designed with accessibility in mind for people who encounter difficulties in participating in traditional forms of culture.
