Works by Laureates of the “Magic of Flight” 2025 Competition at Our Museum

DATE:08 / 04 / 2026

We are pleased to announce that once again this year — in the Main Building of the Polish Aviation Museum, in the educational hall — visitors can admire the works of laureates of the national art competition “The Magic of Flight”, organized by the Małopolska Culture Centre SOKOL in Nowy Sącz. Since its first edition, our Museum has been a partner of the competition.

At the exhibition, visitors can see 20 distinguished and award-winning works, created with great sensitivity and artistic imagination — perfect illustrations of children’s and young people’s visions of flight, dreams, and wings. The exhibition is available to visitors from 28 November 2025 to 27 February 2026.

A Brief History of the “Magic of Flight” Competition

  • The “Magic of Flight” competition was initiated by artist and educator Stanisław Szarek — Knight of the Order of the Smile.
  • From the very beginning, it has been organized with children, young people, families, and school groups in mind — to create works together inspired by aviation motifs, dreams of flight, and the sky.
  • The main goals of the competition are to develop imagination, creativity, artistic expression, and art skills, as well as to build family and social bonds through collaborative creation.
  • Thanks to its partnership with the Polish Aviation Museum, the competition connects the world of art with aviation history — showing young people that dreams of flying can inspire creativity and exploration of Poland’s aviation heritage.

The Polish Aviation Museum has been involved for years in fostering youth creativity and promoting art, history, and passion — supporting initiatives such as “The Magic of Flight” and providing space to showcase their results.

We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition — it is an excellent opportunity to see the world through the eyes of young artists, feel the energy of creativity, and experience how flight and dreams of the sky can inspire generations.
